Life Swings like a Rollercoaster!!!!!

Dear Blog.....

I am sorry for i was away from you for so long..well what choice do i have , 14 hours of load shedding has made our life miserable and the only thing i can imagine is pulling out every last hair left of those people responsible for doing so.

Anyways have been busy traveling around, sun basking in our early Spring...and yes hiking like never before. Its getting warmer here and with the warmth of the sun my brain seems to be more creative than ever...shall tell you my plans later however i am content with my Kathmandu city these days... and the reason why??? ....I tell you whyyyy;GARBAGE: Kathmandu city has managed to keep greenyyy dustbins everywhere so we do not have to worry and wait for the vechile to come every morning... we can just dump it anytime we like it :). The traffic though still annoying has become much more well routed and controlled. Atleast apart from the NO- ELECTRICITY, we have so much to look forward to and take a deep breath for things are getting into shape slowly.... Oh yes not to mention, we have a huge Highway now and people have begun getting so nervous that there is a road mishap every after alternate days and finally i hear we have overhead bridges coming up soon.

I had been to the eastern part of Nepal lately and that made me feel so refreshed that i never felt like coming back, probably spending time with my parents after so long was another reason too. I even imagined myself settling somewhere in the hillside like HEIDI...growing grapes, seasonal vegetables, making friends with the elderly people and yes adopting a Labrador. Well i was so lost and  had even imagined keep Horses until my dad said " Yes make a picture of the Horse and run around imagining you are riding in one".Overall i fell in love with the place i visited, so simple yet so mesmerizing and yes people were happy and content in life they lived. The journey to reach there was long forgotten when i reached there, it was just the simplicity that made me fall for it.

Well now is the beginning of the best season, Spring - the wind here is chill yet the sun dances along with the wind so beautifully that i feel like packing my big bag and going for a picnic somewhere, our Mountain shines far away yet so proudly embracing half of the valley. Every morning while making coffee i love the view from my kitchen, there are apricot blooms everywhere makes me feel happy for no reason at all. The air is much more fresh enough to make everyone's skin glow and yes there is a feeling of Happiness every where, probably because it is also the wedding season.

Neverthless...i am busy with my spring cleaning and yes highly awaiting to plant few more indoors, all i am waiting for is to hit the pool as it gets warmer here....with my sun glasses on to bask the perfect sun and yes not to forget to view the upgrade of my country in more details :)..

Till I come up with more fascinating stories, here i say goodbie :)

Beginning of the Year: I THINK A LOTTTTT

Dear Blog...

Its 5 Degree today and Kathmandu city is freezing; coffee, wollen socks, hot water bags has become my best friend. Sorry i could not write much for it was way too freezing to sit in the bathroom and write. Well Electricity cuts are 11 hours a day and lately i have been busy swinging myself in the Rythm of Zumba :). So many New year resolutions were made yet its 2nd Jan 2011 and i have forgotten half of it....... infact deleted half of it for i thought its too much of a responsibility for me :)

My country, My pride has shown hell lot of improvements, in comparison to my last blogs, there are Green Garbage buckets i see in places to places. Numbers of Pissers have rapidly gone down, however the trademark still remains there and i have stopped my morning walks. The best part is... people who donot use overhead bridges to cross the road, a new penalty has been enforced by the Traffic Police.... last i saw was two beautiful college girls taken by traffic Aunties and i heard they were detained in the Police station for 1 hour. Good Rules, it might annoy people but its for our best Right? After all what are the bridges for :). Hmm i saw many road mishap on the New Years Eve, phew!

Well members of HAN ( HOTEL ASSOCIATION OF NEPAL), NTB ( NEPAL TOURISM BOARD) and NATA (NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF TRAVEL AGENTS), welcomed 2011 on 31st Dec with a BANG...... wish i could upload some pictures now, but i forgot my mobile cables and cannot. Well BANG does not mean Fireworks in Nepal nor does it mean cheerful and color full people, there was a BIG rally which seemed to block the entire roads. Phew Welcome VISIT NEPAL 2011... even i am joining the inauguration of NTY on 14th Jan 2011. I hope we got loads and loads of Visitors this year, for Nepal is a beautiful country, and not all regions of Nepal is polluted. Its just Kathmandu :)....the other regions are Mystifying and the only Heaven on Earth i must say.

Well no more complaints now, for it snowed in some parts of the Country. Kathmandu in New years day looked much more beautiful than ever, it seemed like its ready to Shine for Visit Nepal 2011. It rained on the New Years Eve so yesterday we had much more clearer and cleaner day. Hmmm however i was busy attending my sister's son's birthday party, I realized last month was real hectic on me and felt asleep even in such enjoyment. :)........ November December is a busy period for me and yes with so much Drama going on in my life...it was real too much of a closure for 2010.

I had been busy reading the horoscope how would my 2011 be, had been angry on the 1st Jan for i had not received any call from the most expected one...there some where it said BAD BAD about my relation :(...the worst was " I am INCLINED to Date a New Person", " He shall have a relation with someone" ...bla bla bla...what does that mean; felt like slapping the Predictor....in fact i believe things will be just fine and i know how i feel and i have faith in US...not just ME. Thinking negative shall only increase lines on my faces which i had promised myself i wont allow to happen so. Phew! what else...let us not keep wondering how this year shall be or comparing how this year was in comparison to last year. Let us live life day by day, exploring and unwrapping every secret in stored and learning lesson from the necessary.... Putting up a BIG smile on our faces....for its another year we have in hand to mend the past, to live the present and make the future....

Cheers...HAPPY NEW YEAR...better late than Never.... :)

Transport me fast pleaseeeeee

Dear Blog,

The last time i checked on the temperature it was 14 Degree, i know its nothing to be fussy about but its cold and such a cold that it makes our heart freeze to death... i recently got a complain that i have become " cold hearted " probably due to the weather ahahaha..... jokes apart..... i know its winter and what else can i expect but a shivering shower time, shivering walk and yes shivering voice... however today lets not talk about me whining and making a fuss over the weather for i have got the courage to endure it all... for right now i am back again sitting in my favorite place " Bathroom" with a warm jacket and writing this...

8: 00 AM: My journey to work begins as i lazily pull myself out of the bed, wishing i was a little child again where the most difficult part was brushing your teeth and doing your homework..... i quickly brush and rush out for work.......

8:10 AM:  I reach the main road where i am to take my Micro van( local transportation).

There they come, TOO FAST TOO FURIOUS....... Ayyy Ratna park, ratna park...didi janey ho ( Ratna park is a junction where we change our bus for a different route, sis you want to go);  I say yes and when i enter i see all various kinds of people, some are even half asleep in such an early morning, not to mention myself who looks like a birdie right out from her nest. I find a way for myself, and again he yells aloud " Ayy ratna park, ratna park........Ratna parkkk........

After A While.........

Your fare please...I quitely hand over my 12 rupees, for i do not hold any student ID...
Suddenly an older looking woman simply gives him Rs.7 ( discount fare for students) and the small boy mocks at her, there now the lady is furious, " Kina haseko, hami chai student huna sakdina" ( why are you laughing, cant we be students)....he then tries to control it as much a possible, looking at the ID card; then she says" Padhnu ta aucha " (Do you know how to read); then he replies, Aucha didi aucha ( yes i know how to read)
The boy has stopped yelling Ayy Ratna Park Park...and he is busy doing his calculations of how much he must return. Again didi your fare please when a women turns very unheard and looks out the window, there he is again Can i have your fare sister, again she is staring out the window, irritated little boy; Sister YOUR FARE PLEASE, when the women very angry says " Dinchu ta k ma timro 12rs liyera bhagchu" ( I will give you your 12rs, you think i will run away with your money)...then she hands over just Rs.10 to the boy, again he says sister 2 more rs please, then the woman is really annoyed and says i dont have 2 rs, dont make a fuss over your Rs2. hearing that the boy says " What can i do sister, this Rs2 might be nothing for you, but for us it seems like 2 lakh, hearing that everyone in the van giggles.

Well all this while, i was feeling sick very very sick, then i turned to a person sitting next to me... Oh My god, early morning with nothing on my tummy, i almost threw up, such a pretty lady and her armpits were smelling, ewww just like a Goat who never knew what taking a shower means. I was disgusted.

8: 18 AM: Another bus stop, right in front of Nepal tourism Board, it says 19 Days more to go for VISIT Nepal 2011, mind you all ha, its our VISIT NEPAL YEAR 2011, where the inauguration shall start on 14th Jan 2011 in a grand way, I bet its another long walk for us carrying the hoards again. Phew, there again, Ayy Langankhel, lagankhel, auuu nu yaha seat khali cha...didi januuu laggyo aunuss.... ( Lagankhel: Destination, and they board us saying that its leaving immidiately).

There a petite small boy is yelling his lungs out to gather as many passenger as he could, I could see his master, the driver must have given him a new pair of Sweaters and he was shining in it however in such a cold winter he had his slippers on, i thought to myself, there see if people can manage with slippers why make a fuss over not buying yourself a new boot this year. After we all squeezed in to the seats, the van finally moved, Music so loud.... " My name is Sheela, Sheela ki Jawani, I'm too sexy for you"; and the little boy is singing it aloud... My name is Sheela tapping his feet.... Well mind you, Dirty, Smelly Arm pits are everywhere and I was once again the vicitim, this time both sitting side by me had the aroma and all i wished for was to reach my destination as early as possible".

Well i had no choice but to look outside the window, turn my music louder than the Van's song, there i saw all tiny little boys yelling to board in as many passengers as they could and arguing with themselves for the customers, i thought my Job was harder but when i look at them struggling and yelling the same thing over and over again everyday, i have no option but to be happy in what job i hold. They never complain of cold, nor their body aroma nor do they care if they have brushed their teeth today, all they care for is working and yelling as loud as they can to gather customers, while doing so they do not even care if they are friends; for at that moment they are competitors and if they loose out on one customer they have to yell harder until they find a customer. I wonder if they would be happy if we offered them education. I wondered how much would they make in a day and how many families do they support in doing so, i wondered if they get to eat proper foods. I wondered what will they become, when they grow up, heard the good ones become the Driver, but not all could be Drivers right? Well i wondered how far had they come to hold this job. I kept wondering, until he poked me and said; Sister your fare pleaseee..........and all were staring at me, which means he was poking me for a while and i was lost in my own thought......

Air I Breathe and Path i walk

Hello World...........

Well ask me what i had been up to lately?? ermm nothing much i was busy staring at the mirror all day and night and even mornings and midnights.... why? why???? Because i seemed to have been looking older than my age.
Everyday i dream of a glowing skin of like Eva Longoria or may be Catherine Zeta Zones and i assume i am out in the world with full confidence thinking i am no less then any other glowing girls or women but to my shock whenever i come back home all i see is my big pored face with its so little left glow fading away day by day and yes some wrinkles in the forehead. In the morning when i go out for a walk i still manage to see some pissers like i  mentioned in my last blog.

Well seriously the number of vehicles in this city is increasing as rapidly as the population of this country and talk about breathing fresh air, its only during Nepal bandhs (strikes)or midnight that is if you can wake up just to breath fresh air. By the time when you get home in the evening, you try blowing your nose, you'd be shocked you see how much your tiny nose had fought all day long with the dust, the black layer and layer of dust doesn't stop coming until you need to take a break from blowing your nose. Hair ..please do not mention my hair, it feels like Gundruk ( fermented and dried leafy vegetables). Try riding a scooty with your lip full of lip gloss or a balm, by the time you reach your destination you feel like your lips are dinning lavishly with the dust. I wonder where people get the money to buy Cars when the tax is double here... wish i had some money too to buy a Kia Sportage :) so that i can also honk horns for no reason. The only reason we honk horns in Nepal is to say " I AM GETTING RESTLESS HERE AND I AM IN A HURRY, DAMN THE TRAFFIC"...even they donot know how to value the Ambulance with a siren except for few gentle men and women driving.

The other day i was crossing our Bagmati river and every winter i used to admire the snow white mountain, but to my shock one of the mountain has no more snow in it, i do not know if i got myself confused but that was not a hill it was a mountain with half snow covered every winter and now it looks dead and dark :(. This winter is colder than expected but along with it has brought so much dryness, i can see it and i can feel it because my hands and lips are cracked up with dryness no matter now much lotion i apply. They say the snows are melting, but do not know where the waters are floating as to take a shower after such long dusty day is also a privilege since there is a water scarcity everywhere, so i assume the water must be vaporizing itself and vanishing some where like you know the mystery of Bermuda Triangle types ;).

Well to the people i do not have much to say, especially to those who can blow their nose anywhere and everywhere, like some stunt, close one nose and aim at a spot...Siiiiiiiiii...there it falls right on the spot, no bathroom no tissue required just their hand is enough. Well toilet in Nepal is anywhere and everywhere again, the only access you need is access to NO SHAME and you can pee on every people's house walls also provided the Dogs do not chew your priceless possession  . Oh yes you can even throw garbage in front of people's  houses after the sun sets. Litter is everywhere, but dumping site keeps changing, i do not understand why people still have not learned basic cleanliness manners. Oh yes its not only the uneducated who litter here and there its the educated ones also, there other day i saw a man in a Car wearing a clean suite smoking in the car with a nice music, well his car did not have ashtray i guess, he threw the smoke out the window, what if my country was burned down, such a jerk. While i was busy staring at him a women from a local transportation almost puked on me...there she left such remembrance all over the road as further as she could. The best part is some people digging their nose and wiping it in the walls as they walk by.

So much and so on, well sometimes i just wish we could penalize (fine)them in teaching basic hygiene, but you never know tomorrow there could be a huge agitation against it as well . Its just my point of viewing ways of improving the health standard of my beloved people, to read this as a criticism or a fun blog is up to them.
Someday some one might just shoot me or sue me for writing such posts, but who cares for the moment all i want to say is this is my way of expressing awareness about my country. I am not being a critic here for the worst but this might just help us in developing our country and might just spread the message to all the readers- Nepali or non- Nepali and our country might someday restore the peace and fresh air like there used to be, where we can proudly say this is a country of Never ending peace and love.

Not to be forgotten this words might just save our Mt. Everest from melting and stabilize the global warming all over the world................ :)

till i update you more...miss me :)

Nepal and Unlimited power supply.... :)

Dear Readers,

To some Nepal must be a Pride....and to some it must be an Unknown destination....hurts me a lot when people ask me " WHERE IS NEPAL".... but if you say "THE HIMALAYAS" they say " Oh yes yes... and AGAIN " INDIA???"....Duh Nepal is Nepal........ the most Beautifully landlocked country with the "Duu deeey Chuurpi- also known as Milky Dry cheese"...like the white mountains everywhere

Anyways.... Am not here to sit and judge if the whole world knows where is Nepal or if they've ever looked into Atlas..... for i know all my people do know where it is...no matter where they are and am sure they all miss our lovely country

NEPAL: News, Headlines, Papers, Radios says from 15th Dec 2010 Nepal Electricity Authority decides to cut down on the power supply for 8 hrs everyday :(....Strange but true... it is not that I am complaining about power cuts, we have got used to candle light dinners every winter, just that now analyzing the over all situation made me think that NEA shall have a tough time after few years..........and will have to make a sales call to every houses .. :). Government is rising the Electricity bills re...even in such power shortage lol.

Dont Worry Though ....Here with the power cut, every individual houses have opted for Solar supply or inverter and these days they are coming up with systems where inverter can give the power for laptops and TV as well so why need Govt Electricity. No more bills nothing..... and people in few years will adapt to this system. People will forget their ways which shall lead to the NEA office hahahaah.......

Our country is said to be the richest in Water....but no water to drink, no water for the electricity, no water to wash our "Kattu":underwear at times, however Hydro projects are coming up :O..there is so much hope in them........so many are into exsistance but i dont know their Job Description :(... nor do i know much about them

Well who does not love the Government Power...we sure all do, but having to recharge my lappy sitting in the toilet for 30 min...which is the only place where the inverter for my lappy is accessible in my apartment, it is sad you know... such a colddd winter and lady like me in the toilet with nothing but my bunny slippers staring at me :(... but have to adjust and having to rather sit in the darkness with my drunken neighbours quarell its better i go to the toilet and charge my lappy...staring at my Bunnies or i'd rather say catching a Cold and farting aloud and blushing by myself :)

Lastly.. i see all my dear friends abroad promoting VISIT NEPAL 2011....:)... it such a proud feeling for them... but i am sorry to inform you that our Government has not still been able to stop pissers in the Palace walls forget about other changes....so from my perspective i shall sell "Destination Nepal- Just the way it is" :)..... kindly do visit it ....for we still have Mt.Everest which hasn't shifted to Africa or somewhere like shown in the movie 2012 :)........ nor has the highest to the lowest peak changed.......it was just the way you left it years back, just has become more older with the dust and noiser with more vechiles.... Oh yes i saw few days back...the Snows are melting and is visible from Kathmandu....this is not a JOKE..... :(

Till i update you more .:)........ take care and be good...protect US :(

C you all soon

Nepal's Update

So much all day, going back on a local transportation simply wants to make me weep like a baby…

However today was the day I choose to travel by the bus…. As I was GOD DAMN Broke…

As always travelling a long way back home…. I watched outside, which was better than looking around people staring at each other, with aromatic feet stinking complimented by stronger arm pit, sweaty smell………. Ignorance is something which cannot be done for its all in the air….

GOD WHATS WRONG WITH LIFE IN HERE????

I stared out, the air which used to be fresh, with fresh water flowing in the Bagmati river ( as said by our elders), today is DRY………… DRY, not even the sanitation water seems to be flowing, I see tiny houses built by refugees..probably citizens of our country making houses of small plastics and so on, the number seems to have increased by now, Oh! Yes……they are learning to adapt to our life styles for now few tracks of toilet made by plastic too seems visible….. but the river is gone dry and its aroma to cause air borne disease is stronger than ever, the only thing left is some big housing corporations to build houses there too……….

Nevertheless, I look above ignoring it all….to enjoy the beautiful view SUNSET over the hills….. What the F**K…now the mountains are unseen and hills are getting blurry, probably due to the fresh air pollution that vehicles has to offer.

Peeeeeeeeeeeppppppp….shit…! stuck in the traffic..Aunties in blur traffic uniforms trying to whistle their lungs out look so pretty even in such sunny day…if only our dear government activated the traffic signals, they wouldn’t have to spend all their breath and energy (** of course fearing of lungs CANCER) ; being so loud and confusing the vehicles even more and wasting the travelers time in giving SIGNALS ….

Peeeeeep…….. peeeeeeepppp…peeeeepppp..I finally reach another station…..where I am supposed to change and take a TUK TUK…

“Hello! Please take the bridge”!

I was annoyed as I was about to do so and I turned around………What the F**K…a BIG MUSTANG in white and brown so near me, as if it wanted to KISS ME…..I looked above ..there another traffic uncle in the horse…like MY DREAM MAN…in a HORSE…A HORSE???? In the middle of the busy road…A HORSE???? Trust me life wouldn’t be better………

I drag myself ..finding it funny…I climb the stairs to the bridge..LORD…. I wonder when to people get all the time in the world to SHIT & PEE in the corner of the bridge ??? God what toilet manners people have and I wonder what do they use to wipe their ASS off ??? as there seems to be no trace of tissue papers or water……and YES..some are even selling fresh cut cucumbers, papayas and maizes in the same lane….. and few are even selling clothes and watches….

TIME For TUK TUK, wow was a lady driver today, Lord indeed must make these ladies stronger for Asses of micro and tuk tuk always teases then and takes them for GRANTED…. But I tell you they are tough ladies huh!.... they do answer back and some even tend to spit over the faces of the teasers and yes they are even better drivers than our MATHU ( DRUNKEN) MEN…

Crossing Kings way ( durbar marg) used to be the only pleasure before…. Looking at the Narayanhiti palace…..feeling it so clean but now???? All icecream man, peanutwala to cucumber walas have lined up there as well and as usual the compounds are beginning to get dirty all around….
LORD DOESN’T ANYONE KNOW CLEANLINESS…….???

Finally finally I reached home, taking a sigh of relief I reached home ..nah hostel…I hurry towards my room……Lord screw the damn country....the generator of Kumari movie hall, singing so LOUD…. Almost making us ALL DEAF……. I bet girls living here will surely turn deaf…thanks to 16 hours of load shedding…….. The loud noise doesn’t stop, I have to yell to call out my roomie…. She is DEAF……..lol…cant hear it when she is in some other room.

What???? My day is ended…..???? No way…..cmon I have candle light dinner pending, along with writing my note under the candle except I don’t use feathered pen these days.

Thanks to Prachu babes, thanks to Ktm Metro….thanks to all hydro companies..thanks to New Nepal………. Life couldn’t be better than this…………

If anyone ever wanted to built personality, tolerance capacity…. I BET Nepal is just the perfect country for it all….PERFECT……….
