Hello World...........
Well ask me what i had been up to lately?? ermm nothing much i was busy staring at the mirror all day and night and even mornings and midnights.... why? why???? Because i seemed to have been looking older than my age.
Everyday i dream of a glowing skin of like Eva Longoria or may be Catherine Zeta Zones and i assume i am out in the world with full confidence thinking i am no less then any other glowing girls or women but to my shock whenever i come back home all i see is my big pored face with its so little left glow fading away day by day and yes some wrinkles in the forehead. In the morning when i go out for a walk i still manage to see some pissers like i mentioned in my last blog.
Well seriously the number of vehicles in this city is increasing as rapidly as the population of this country and talk about breathing fresh air, its only during Nepal bandhs (strikes)or midnight that is if you can wake up just to breath fresh air. By the time when you get home in the evening, you try blowing your nose, you'd be shocked you see how much your tiny nose had fought all day long with the dust, the black layer and layer of dust doesn't stop coming until you need to take a break from blowing your nose. Hair ..please do not mention my hair, it feels like Gundruk ( fermented and dried leafy vegetables). Try riding a scooty with your lip full of lip gloss or a balm, by the time you reach your destination you feel like your lips are dinning lavishly with the dust. I wonder where people get the money to buy Cars when the tax is double here... wish i had some money too to buy a Kia Sportage :) so that i can also honk horns for no reason. The only reason we honk horns in Nepal is to say " I AM GETTING RESTLESS HERE AND I AM IN A HURRY, DAMN THE TRAFFIC"...even they donot know how to value the Ambulance with a siren except for few gentle men and women driving.
The other day i was crossing our Bagmati river and every winter i used to admire the snow white mountain, but to my shock one of the mountain has no more snow in it, i do not know if i got myself confused but that was not a hill it was a mountain with half snow covered every winter and now it looks dead and dark :(. This winter is colder than expected but along with it has brought so much dryness, i can see it and i can feel it because my hands and lips are cracked up with dryness no matter now much lotion i apply. They say the snows are melting, but do not know where the waters are floating as to take a shower after such long dusty day is also a privilege since there is a water scarcity everywhere, so i assume the water must be vaporizing itself and vanishing some where like you know the mystery of Bermuda Triangle types ;).
Well to the people i do not have much to say, especially to those who can blow their nose anywhere and everywhere, like some stunt, close one nose and aim at a spot...Siiiiiiiiii...there it falls right on the spot, no bathroom no tissue required just their hand is enough. Well toilet in Nepal is anywhere and everywhere again, the only access you need is access to NO SHAME and you can pee on every people's house walls also provided the Dogs do not chew your priceless possession . Oh yes you can even throw garbage in front of people's houses after the sun sets. Litter is everywhere, but dumping site keeps changing, i do not understand why people still have not learned basic cleanliness manners. Oh yes its not only the uneducated who litter here and there its the educated ones also, there other day i saw a man in a Car wearing a clean suite smoking in the car with a nice music, well his car did not have ashtray i guess, he threw the smoke out the window, what if my country was burned down, such a jerk. While i was busy staring at him a women from a local transportation almost puked on me...there she left such remembrance all over the road as further as she could. The best part is some people digging their nose and wiping it in the walls as they walk by.
So much and so on, well sometimes i just wish we could penalize (fine)them in teaching basic hygiene, but you never know tomorrow there could be a huge agitation against it as well . Its just my point of viewing ways of improving the health standard of my beloved people, to read this as a criticism or a fun blog is up to them.
Someday some one might just shoot me or sue me for writing such posts, but who cares for the moment all i want to say is this is my way of expressing awareness about my country. I am not being a critic here for the worst but this might just help us in developing our country and might just spread the message to all the readers- Nepali or non- Nepali and our country might someday restore the peace and fresh air like there used to be, where we can proudly say this is a country of Never ending peace and love.
Not to be forgotten this words might just save our Mt. Everest from melting and stabilize the global warming all over the world................ :)
till i update you more...miss me :)
